OUR HISTORY

Warmath Communications was founded in 1969 by local lawyer/entrepreneur J. Frank Warmath (my grandfather). Back then, we offered 5 channels for $5. As cable TV grew in prominence, the company grew to approximately 100 miles of wire in/around Humboldt.

In 1999, Frank (son of J. Frank) recognized the importance of high-speed internet. We rebuilt our system using HFC - a fiber backbone where the last mile is completed via traditional copper cable. During the rebuild, Frank and Mark Love (GM) built to “every house we could see.”

In 2015, John Warmath took over as the third-generation President of what’s now known as Infostructure, Inc. (1Tennessee) after the family decided not to sell the company. Today, we are working to complete that last mile with fiber. Fiber to the Home offers even higher speeds and increased reliability over our cable modem services, empowering our customers to do even more with their broadband connections.
